Make the electric windows work you lazy b*****d!!!!

I did it, hard wiring is easy.... I can explain if you wish....

Dont be so mean! :dapprove:
i hate electrics with a passion lol.

i could get the sport door cards and modify them for the manual windows, and the panel where the electric switches go i could take a grab handle from a dynamic or something with manual windows and put that where they electric switches grab handle thingy was?

I'm not totally sure if they have "bigger handles" without elec windows, as my original clio was retro fitted with them, and they had tiny little grab handles.

Electrics is literally this simple....

  • Get 1x ignition live into each door, from cigarette lighter is a good choice.
  • Split this three ways, one for the light in the switch, then the other two for the two live's the switch requires.
  • Get 1x earth into each door, as each switch requires one.
  • Fit the motor and mech to door/window, should be easy enough, holes for motor should be there already, mech clips on.
At this point you have two holes left on the switch, you've used four out of the 6.

  • These two go direct from the motor to the switch and are the control wires.
DONE

I can give you pin numbers for the switch etc if you want them
