Sound testing

Hello, a word of advice if possible, do the clios struggle through sound tests generally with full exhaust upgrades?
My recently acquired ph2 172 has an aftermarket manifold, decat, ktec cut back exhaust. It seem pretty loud but its not totally stripped interior so naturally it will seem that way.
Has anyone tested the accuracy of iPhone db meters? Other places to test other than find time to get it to a track day?

Can go to the track before you go on your day to check. I've had some pretty loud exhausts and never had an issue at 105db days. Closest was 103

Thats a good point, maybe I could book for a 105 day initially and lower days in the future if I get a good reading.

It would have to be mega loud to fail. Think I had a decatted oreca with recessed box, and unsilenced that was the closest I've been. There were louder cars there too. If your local ish to a track take a drive out and see

Thats good to know, Yeah i hope it'll be ok, I'll have to try and pop past Brands some time when they're doing testing.
The only time I failed we had a Mk1 escort with TVR V8 in it, that used to rattle your ear drums out haha
