Hey all, need some quick advise!
Some of u may know i just fitted an rs192 exhaust to my 182...... was fine until i completed a journey to Bristol to work tonight, so did 30 minutes on the motorway, and got to work, and i could hear some serious rattling noise.
As i was running a little late to work i parked up went in, and after a while i had chance to go have another look. Switched car on, and couldn't hear it, until 30 seconds i could hear it again slightly, and as soon as i waited about 2 mins for engine to get a little warm, rattle rattle again.
It does look like it might be my join from back box to center section. However if there's a slight air gap, would it cause such a loud rattle? Or do you think it could be just vibrating and hitting a part of the car making the noise? it sounds like a ball bearing is rattling in there if u know what i mean.
Either way, i know its hard to say for sure without a clip of the noise, but do u think it would be safe to drive home for 30-40 minutes, not going above 3k revs or something all the way, until i get chance tomorrow when i wake up to take a look?
Thanks in advance!
James.
