Smooth Bonnet & Body Fillers

  1.6 Ford Focus
I want to smooth out the badge on my Ph1 bonnet and smooth out a dent in my boot door...

Does anyone know of any decent car body filler? There is dirt cheap fillers on ebay but I don't know if they are any good or not.

I am also assuming the bonnet is as simple as removing the badge, filling the hole (some of the fillers I found said you can apply straight onto original paint), sanding down so its flush with the rest of the body and then spraying over it?

Go careful! I had mine done a few years back and the filler sank. iirc, I started a thread on here about it and people said ideally it needs welding up and the thinner the filler the better.

Don't quote me on that though.

Sand the area you're going to fill first too, Give the filler a good key to stick too. I just bought cheap stuff from a local motorfactors and it lasted a good few years. Also, dont overfill the hole too much as its a pain sand it down, fill it bit by bit.
