side repeaters - simple question

Hi i have a question i guess nearly everyone in hear except me can answer, looking at replacing my orange repeaters with some chrome ones, can someone please advise how i do this and how difficult this would eb for a huge novice like me, not sure if the info is needed but i only have a 52 reg extreme ??

i also am interested in colour coding my bumper strips, handles and door guards, would this be easy to do, should i use a garage as to make sure the colour is 100% correct?

Hiya

To get the side repeaters off grab yourself a credit card or flathead screwdriver. Get some masking tape over the screwdriver or around the side repeater just incase.

1) There are two small indents (Top and Bottom) in the side repeater. Ease the flathead or card into one of them.

2) Use a fair amount of pressure and force them off. They will just pop out.

3) Once there out pull and twist the yellow/white plastic bit and out comes the bulb holder.

4) Replace the bulb (Just slides in and out) cant go wrong!

5) Push the bulb holder what has the new bulb in into the new clear side repeater, cant go wrong again!

6) Push them back into the hole.

Really really really easy and simple. Dont be afraid to use a fair amoutn of froce though. Need some more help give me a shout!

For the color coding, if you havent got the time then a bodyshop would be awesome. although if you fancy a bit of DIY do them yourself, not too hard and lots of guides on here! If you pay and become a cliosport member theres lots of helpful stuff and guides, worth every penny

thaqnkyou for your great help i know nothing about cars really so i will maybe replace the repeaters with some clear or chrome ones the orange ones look old school so think i will get some off ebay.

if that goes well then i will maybe get my friend who works for renault to colour code my plastic all over should look alot better then
