Servo and Master Cylinder???

Hi,

My car is in the local renault garage for a wheel bearing.

While it was in however they have noticed a problem with the braking system. I knew about this problem but didnt inform the dealer.

They tell me it needs a new Brake Servo and a new Master cylinder. I agree with them going from a previous post on here a month or so ago.
The price the gave me seems a little on the high side
£477 for the brake servo and master cylinder.

My question is, is this a fair price?

Its a pitty im so far away from any kind of renault specialist.

Its either pay renaults prices or go to a dodgy independent, and im not prepared to go to an independant for this work.

DIY??? its only a few 10mm nuts, 2 x 11mm unions and a brake bleed
