Servicing for my 1.2 16v...

I know some of this will have been asked before but i just want some simple answers please....

My car is 4 years old next year and will need its 36k service but won't be on that mileage, but thats irrelevant anyways, so what should I do?

I was thinking 36k service inc Aux belt, I have emailed yozzasport for a quote on price for it. But I was also thinking, the car will be 4 years old but is it worth getting the cambelt done at the same time? I have asked to be quoted a price including the cambelt, will it be much more on top of the normal service?

Also, I will be needing some new discs and pads up front, is it worth swapping the front wheel bearings aswell, i know the mileage isn't high but how much do they cost each, if it isn't much then i'm guessing it may aswell be done while work is being done in that area?

Does the 36k service include engine and gearbox oil and filter change aswell?

Any opinions on what I should have done to the car etc would be helpful please.

Thanks.

if you're doing the cambelt on that engine its worth doing the waterpump too

gearbox oil doesn't need to be changed
bearings don't need replacing unless they're making a noise

all filters (air, oil and cabin)
engine oil
belt/s swap

does it have aircon?

no it doesn't have aircon.

Ok, when you get to work and read my email would you be able to get me a quote for just the standard 36k service including aux belt and the brake work i've put in my email. And then also that work with the cambelt and aux belt.

Is it worth doing the Cambelt, i.e is it easier and more cost effective to do it whilst the aux belt is being done as the next service will just be a normal one won't it after the cambelt?

Also how long would you have the car for for the work?

Thanks for the help, much appreciated.

makes no odds, a 1.2 16v without aircon takes about 5min to swap the aux belt on

cambelt is around a 3hr job from memory, its been a while since ive done one TBH

OK thats cool.
I'll see what the quotes are and go from there.

Thanks again for the help.
