Serv light - Help!

Right, I just nipped to the shops and on the way back, the serv light came on and stayed on.

What does this mean?

I've only had the car 2 weeks.....

Usually another light comes on at the same time if not check the oil level.

I was messing around with one of the side repeaters the other day, and broke the bulb!

Could the serv light mean that there is a bulb out?

Shouldn't do I don't think but fix it and you never know with French electrics.

this used to happen to mine it was a loose wire(wires) under the seat on the connector block thing just used to give them a wiggle and it would go off hope this helps

My service light came on today along with the ABS light :dead: when I was playing about with the handbrake

Restarted and it went out thankfully. Was aquaplaning most of the journey on the M25 home.
