Seats with head protection (side)

Mate of mine is looking at buying some but I've told him that they will be a PITA trying to drive day to day, having to look sideways through the little cut outs at junctionts etc....

Anyone here use(ed) them? Are they livable??

I've got cobra evolutions and no problems with them day to day. Visibility is fine. Little tricky reversing but can get my head up over the top of the seat. Most problems at junctions etc come from the harnesses.
