Samsung LCD 40"

hey

my friend has just bought a samsung lcd, i went round to have a look and noticed the playback seems as if it going faster that usual. like its playing in fast forward only slightly. first i thought it was the dvd we watched but then it was doing it on live tv.

any one know if they have set it up wrong?

If playback was going faster than usual in live TV then he'd end up watching programmes before they'd been broadcast.

the only isue you may have is watching american dvd's as they use a different frame rate to us but tbh your average joe wouldnt notice

so to me it sounds like lip sync issues and its making you think its going faster than it is sound is slightly delayed compared to the picture caused by processing

no no.. lol right erm... the lips and audio seem fine.. how can i explain.. in nero media player you can set the playback to 1x fast forward that is what the play back is like on the tv
