Hmmm, 15,000 miles! Kinda low for an 02, means spent a lot of time being repaired!
Half the fun of a 172 is driving it on the edge, kinda fuzzy edge if the things been wrapped round a tree!
Best avoid I think!

Cat C cars arnt always that bad its just the cost of repairng certain bits that put the insurer off. ive seen cat C cars that are in better condition that Cat D cars. Ask what happened to it and for receipts to shaow repairs
