You may be better off just getting the new mount from Renault - £11-£12 I think - as the rubber X-section has a metal core to stop the hangar arm from cutting into the rubber.

The problem with the Halfrauds mounts is that they are just rubber and the mounting hangar will pull through it eventually. Ok for a temporary fix though!

Ask Mini Valver he has a piece of wood in his exhaust mount to keep it where it is lol. Works a treat though!

LOL! Tis true....
I fitted my prospeed when i had my old buggered exhaust mount but due to the prospeed poor fitting design the only thing that stops the back box from dropping down is the clamp nto the middle section so i had a tiny spot weld put on to hold it in place. This was fine until i had my decat done and the exhaust sat way out of the cut out so i brought a new mount from Renault, £21.
Put this on and because the old mount was so mis-shaped the tailpipe was touching the bumper on one side so i cut a block of oak and wedged it in between the rubber and outer casting, works a treat!
