Removing Inlet manifold/rocker cover

Hi,

how easy is it to remove the inlet manifold on a 16v/williams? Will i get away with removing the front cross member and radiator and undoing the bolts or is there more work involved? Do i need gaskets/torque settings to refit it?

Likewise for the rocker cover - presume thats just a gasket but is there torque settings for the bolts?

thanks!

the rocker cover is very easy just lots of bolts. If you take it off replace the gasket its likely to break

About 20 bolts including teh vacuum rail for the rocker cover and there is a gasket yea. 10 or 13nm torque.

Inlet manifold you can take the slam panel and rad out to take it off yes, gsket needed.

to take the inlet manifold off you need to remove the drivers side head light as you need to remove the alternater to take the inlet manifold off. you may as well replace the aux belt while you are at it. its quite a big job. it has a good disciption in the haynes manual
