Removing diesel spill from boot carpet?

  GW RS200
I've had some diesel leak from a can into about 50% of my boot carpet, which has left an oily stain. Anyone got any smart ideas to help me get it out? Obviously the carpet just pulls out of the car, so at the moment I'm thinking fairy liquid and a jetwash maybe. Any brighter ideas?

thanks!!!

  Whichever has fuel
Soak it in a strong de-greaser of some sort (gunk etc) then jetwash it.

tbh, you'll never get rid completely as its a cu*t to get out. Buy a new carpet from the scrappy?? Only about a tenner.

Horrible stuff. Good thinking - I'll have a look around for a replacement if all else fails. Thanks for the swift reply!! (lolz to the next post - thanks!!!)
