Removing 172 gearknob?

Anyone help with this, want to fit a Momo one, been told it needs to be hacked off? Anyway pics and help much appreciated!

My mates 172 gearnknob is sitting in my boot, absolutely perfect. Whoever changed it for him did it withou a saw. Looking at the inside of it, theres some residue glue, so i'm guessing you need to put on your Superman costume and pull like your the only guy, wasted, in a fat wh*res nightclub, in the middle of nowhere.

Ive posted this up before i think, search up!

All i did was heat up the glue that was mentioned above, using a hair dryer (basically for 10ish mins until the rubber outside fells like it could peel off (you'l see what i mean when i do it) )

Then get some swan neck pliars and twist it off. If your strong enough you may be able to twist if off with swan neck anyway. I never tried it because i didnt think about the swan neck untill after I had heated it up!
