rear wheel rubbing

my 172 has just failed it's mot!
The inside of the rear wheel on the passenger side was rubbing on the arch liner. (the wheels are standard)
has anyone had this before??

Have you hit the kerb and bent the arm or something?

nope, never hit anything with the wheel.

as far as i can see the liner is in propely, and it seems there is only a vey small gap between the wheel, liner and the car body? is this normal???

If so i may need to see it i can push the arch liner out of the way?

take the arch liner out lol

or try getting it 4 wheel laser alined
