Quote for window regulator at Renault

Hi, Just been to Renault coz my drivers side window wouldn't go up, after half hour they said it was due to the clips that connect to the window have broke and the wire had wrapped around the motor. They have put the window up and secured it with a chunk of wood. For this they charged me 45 pound.

They didn't have a new regulator in stock so couldnt fix it They've quoted me 289.39 for a new one, fitted. My question is are they easy to fit and does anywhere sell the parts cheaper?

get a working one out of a scrappy, if you get one off a newer car which works then it would prob last you another few years and prob cost you a tenth of the new renault price, dead easy to change too

nice 1, i'll have a look around and see if i can find one. I found the broken reg. in the boot today, didnt know they'd left it in but now ive got something to compare a new one to.
