I know most of you guys are going to say "phone them and find out.." but im just wandering if anyone here knows if i can pause my insurance on my clio so i dont pay out insurance for a certain time (Giving me chance to save for coilies and a very expensive set of deep dishes)

Yes, this is possible, but must be made in advance with the insurance company.
Its called a Holiday Payment, where you skip a payment, however the amount is added on to the rest of the premiums, but e.g. want to splurge a bit of christmas can have Decembers payment wiped and it added on to the rest of the year...
This can only be once though and once a year... also cant be the last or first payment of insurance
Just give them a call and ask them, pretty standard with most companies...
