Quick help please, RE: brakes(pics work)





OIm trying to fit my new pads and disks and cant seem to get the disk on. Can any one tell me what kind of callipers these are

Cause your picture dont work yet, I cant say. However there are two types of braking systems, one is Bendix and the other is Girling. I think that the calipers with Lucas on are the Bendix type and should have offset notches in the pads so you can line them up properly.

Might just have the wrong set for the type of system. U sure the calipers have been widened to there fullest??
 


The braks appear to be 260+ mm where as they should be 238



Think i may have found why they dont fit! :(

int hat pic the central "piston" aint pushed all the way back, really force it and u will surprised how much more room u get
 


What car is it!!!

they look like 1.4 bedix calipers. Which use solid discs........

what are the discs you bought for?
