problem with a laguna help please

dads mate has a w reg 1.6 rt laguna
and he says when driving at speeds between 50 and 60 in 4th and 5th if accelerating the car vibrates excessively

its had 2 new rear tyres and the wheels have all been balanced and tracked he says it seems to come from around the back but he cant be sure

The gearbox is shagged - Eng type K4M 720 // FITTED WITH THE JB3 gearbox - very common fault ( or try the driveshafts )

ah bugger he has spent loads on this car keeping it going

just spoken to my dad and he said they have checked the shafts and said they were fine but this was halfords service center

LOL, ya tight bugger!!!!!

Its probably a warped disk, wheel out of balance, it could also be a knackered tyre with a shifted tread
