Phase 1 exhaust on Phase 2.....again

I know they have different cats and some have 1 lambda and some 2.

I have a Phase 2 172 with 2 lambda's and a standard cat in.
Im looking at a 2nd hand cat back system from a Phase 1. Im unsure if its a double or single lambda but it has the 2 cats side by side.

From what I understand theres about an inch difference in overall length between the short 1 lambda system and the longer 2 lambda version.

Basically would the system from EITHER Phase 1 fit my phase 2?

Surely an inch longer wouldnt cause it to hit anything underneath?? Its a stealth system too btw so tailpipes sticking out is irrelevant

depends which exhast you get, there's a few which have adjustable length with a sleeved joint just after the cat.

It's a miltek one....had it fitted today no problems I noticed the adjustable sleeve too so that explains it.

It's definately stainless and got it for a good price. you didn't see or hear the old one lol
