PH2 172
I had this problem last week, so will post this in the hope it may help others
Problem was as described, all other dash lights were as normal including immobiliser light extinguishing after it`s initial 3 seconds solid when ignition turned on.
I changed the fob battery for a new one, checked the dash end UCH fuses & the loom earth lead on the back of the gearbox all to no effect.
A very good man from the AA poked around with his box of tricks for half an hour and declared there was no 12v feed to the ECU, caused by a broken wire in the loom.
The get you home solution was to slice in a piggy back wire from the relay (the small black one pictured ) to the relevant pin of the ECU.
The wire in question is the white one in the photo`s.
