Finally got my standard ph1 172 weighed today 1035kg with no spare wheel, driver or fuel . Its possibly goin on a diet! Question time now..

How much weight loss by stripping the rear interior/seats?

How much lighter is a aliuminium bonnet than the steel1?

What other parts on the car could I loose weight on...?

replace windows for perspex items.
bonnet, boot and doors for fibreglass / carbon / kevlar
go for some motorsport wheels
remove all interior parts including the dash replace factory seats for a lightweight race bucket seat (Just the 1 who needs passengers!)
