Pedal seems different position evertime I drive! Throttle Sensor?

Hi,

This is had to explain so here I go:

When ever I drive the car from cold it seems that the pedal position to accelarate is different, as in I have to push the pedal further before the car takes note and the engine takes any notice.

There seem to be a 2-3cm travel were nothing happens but when warm that travel isnt there. is this something to do with the throttle sensor? Is it normal or is it going to die soon?

i think its the warm up sequence inbuilt into the computer..
my 172 dose it as well. especially when its cold..

it just feels wierd as i always forget about it and it feel odd pulling away putting my foot that far down before anything happens

If your cars under warently take it in get it checked its easy enough to do.
