first off, this may be a bit off a long shot both these problems relate to my gf's skoda fabia.
she says there is a loud knicking noise from passengers side front arch when driving - bit worse over speed bumps
2nd problem is that when seh takes the key out of the ignition, the barrel usually clicks when they key is pulled out fully. it doesnt do this now, with the end result being that the car doesnt activate the steering lock function and it doesnt recognise that the key has been removed from the ignition and the plip central locking function now doesnt work because it still thinks the key is in.
any help would be great
