Old laptop help.

  FF 182
My dads laptop runs like a bag of s***e. Its about 5 years old, a Toshiba Satellite L300D-18E.

Im not familiar with laptops at all and was wondering if its best to use the recovery disk or a new os to restore the laptop back to as new. I read somewhere that if you install a fresh os that it can be hard to find the drivers for the touchpad etc etc?

Cheers.

If you're installing a new os, make susure you install it over the current operating systems partition and make sure you use OEM software disc from your manufacturer (Toshiba) as it will contain all the drivers.
