Oil Level and Engine Coolant...

  CLIOpatra, L22EE W™
Just popped the bonnet to check a few things, and have noticed that the Coolant is slightly under the max line on the container.

So I am guessing do I simply get some Coolant and 'top it up' or can I add a small amount of water?

Also checked the Oil level on the dip stick, and again the level of Oil is slighty under the max level. What kinda Oil shall I buy to top up a 1.2 16v Engine? Don't really want cr@ppy stuff. So hence me getting some suggestions from here.

Cheers,

Just use the normal Renault stuff to top up if you want to chnage the oil use that silk proline stuff its highty recomended.

Well I don't think that the oil needs changing. As the Clio has only done about 6800 miles. If IIRC the oil change would be at the Clio 1st service, which is due at the end of March.

I wouldnt bother topping up your engine coolant level as long as its jut below the maximum, the coolant level will rise when the engine is hot, if you do need to top it up you should use the renault stuff really iirc its £6-8
