Hiya,ive been on here a few months ago but couldnt remember my username or password!!

I was threatening to get a 172 sport for my business and i got one yesterday and am impressed much more than i thought i would be!

Ive never driven anything with VVT before so when it hit 4k gave me a gentle prod and took off i was grinning like a cheshire cat!!!

Just got to get a roll cage and some strut braces sorted and hopefully ill get it track worthy for Knockhill feb 6th!!

Good for driving around here,mostly dual carriageways

Well you must have got lost then as there are only about 6 from J14 to the city centre and thanks for waving on you way past my house

The VVT comes in at around 1.4k rpm and has no relation to the kick you feel at 4-5k, thats just the nature of the cams.

Its around 5, I dont think there is a device to change it but you can get it remapped, that will smooth the kick out but deliver the power better
