Newbie with a few questions...

Hi just joined and thought Id say hi as Ive been watching quietly for a few months now as Im fancying a 182 with cup packs.

I currently drive a 2000 vtr with a 16v lump and a number of mods from brakes, engine work, bodywork to leather retrim. Unfortunately with buying a house recently I have not had any money or time to carry out the tlc that moded quick (especially french) cars deserve and as such my car needs a bit of tidying up and bits sorted before I can sell it.

Rather than spending time and money sorting it out to then try and sell in the very flooded saxo market I was wondering if anyone had postive experiences of trading a heavily moded car in against a 182. I know that somewhere along the line I am going to have to cut my loses but this might be the quickest way of getting a 182.

heavily modded normally equals very poor trade in...

would be worth it for a 182. WELCOME TO CS.

You might struggle to find somewhere thatll trade it or give you decent money for it if its heavly modded.

either return it to std (if you have the bits still) or sell privately, the dealers will know it will be a pain for them to sell on to another garage or cost them alot to return to std before selling and hence will offer you fook all for it. Selling privately is your best bet IMO
