newbie rules on for sale posts

I've posted a for sale post as sadly my clio has to go. Do you have to make 10 posts before you can edit your own post or reply to posts in the for sale section? I understand the thinking behind this but I don't want to go posting meaningless drivel just to be able to edit my advert. I wonder if the rules could be changed so that you have to only make a few posts, including one post at least in the "new to cliosport" section. It'd probably stop people coming on and posting rubbish just to get to 10 posts...

No one can edit posts mate.

This is so the car can't be listed as new cambelt for example, once collected it's edited out and the buyer finds out it was a lie.

PM a mod/admin if needed.

There is no "10 post rule" mate.

As a fully paid up member you can use the forum marketplace.

The "cars for sale section" differs slightly from the parts section, as only the person who posts a car advert can post in that thread.

As for the edit function. All members have the ability to edit their posts for 30 minutes after it was posted. 30 minutes is a guess, but it does timeout after a set period.
