New Gear Knob

I've searched for it and if read how to change it but has anyone got any pics just so i can make sure im doing it propperly

Its Mk2 Ph2 btw, and im changing to a MOMO RACE Evo

I think:

You have to remove the gear knob insert with a flat screwdriver so your faced with the outer gear knob, Hack saw that in half and then you should see the white plastic mould. and i think you have to hacksaw that off.

HI i have replaced my gear knob on a mk2 clio, I used a flat head screw driver 2 take the gear knob off and then used a hacksore to remove the plastic underneath

it says on the instructions for the new one something about a spring!

''take care not to damage the spring (if present) usually placed between the original knob and the reverse lift system?''

is there a spring on/in the clio gear knob?

interior covered in plastic though
