Hi all, Im new to join the site, just bought a 172 Mk2. Just wondering if anyone could advise me on any mods, egsausts, air filters, plugs etc....

exhaust imo you want to go decat the best option would have been supersprint but they dont make them anymore so go for something like a prospeed or a magnex.

airfilter you want one of the closed IK if you are going to fit one, best is the itg maxogen but they are expensive so the other options are the bmc cda or the pipercross viper. with these though its always advisable to have the ecu remapped or have a piggyback ecu fitted and properly set up on a RR as sometimes these cars run lean at WOT.

Welcome to the club Baz. K-tec make a carbon version of the splitter.

Cool thanks, so whats the difference on performance to a valver, 172, 182 and the Cups. Is there much in it?
