Hi Recently had my discs and pads changed, had some grooved discs put on and when i had the car back was making a little noise like a rubbing noise not too loud just thought once they bed in they will be ok, but i gave it 4 days of driving when all of a sudden coming up to a roundabout i find myself with very little braking power (s**t myself) and brakes smoking like a good one, i take it back to garage they said back brakes were seized and that had caused the smoke coz it cooked the brake fluid, so they bled the system and unseized the brakes, great i thought should be ok now, BUT NO nearly crash again due to loss of braking and this noise i had is really loud now, so i take it back and they said they will check it again, all is fine they said, picked it up today its still happening brakes feel weak, so im not giving them anymore chances, could this be down to the discs because they werent the most expensive discs they cost 170 for 4? im not sure what it is, Oh yes forgot i put goodridge braided lines on too but thought they would help braking not make it worse. i think i will go back to standard pads and discs had good brakes and no noise on them. what you think it could be though ?
