need a few prices- please help !

sorry if im posting in the wrong bit, but

my mate has just rang me, he has stuffed a clio up the ar*e, its an M reg & he needs to know some prices,

the car he hit needs a new rear bumper (it is not colour coded) a rear light,

a new number plate light & a new rear plate,

the woman he hit reckons it going to cost (inc labour) £500 from renault, is this about right??

secondly of some one could give me a breakdown of the costs & part numbers, that would be brill.

If you can find out the codes from the side of the drivers door that would be a help. Ill have a quick guestimate though for you based on what I can guess but £500 would sound about right.

just make sure it not more work my mate car at work was in an accident and the damage looked like just a rear bumber but after a a garage had a look they saw more damage in the brackets and some others stuff taking the bill to a just over a grand.

according to my mate, its a clio be bop, it does not have coloured bumpers,

i cant find out any more info on it, as that is all he knows.

he wants to know whether or not she is being truthful, and as to go thru the insurance (if dont come too much he will prob just pay for it) which is why im trying to find out roughly how much itll come too,

he has been to renault for a rough idea, but the parts bit was closed.

The parts are cheaper than I expected. I expected it to be about the same as the one on my Escort which costs £500 and although it was colour coded that was all the damage.

77 01 469 648 BUMPER REAR £85.00 ex VAT There there a few clips to hold it on with so another £5

77 01 205 226 BUMPER BRACKET £27.76 ex VAT Maybe you wont need a new one but possibly

77 01 036 245 LAMP NUMBER PLATE £5.88 ex VAT

77 01 039 014 LAMP LHR £29.15 ex VAT
77 01 039 013 LAMP RHR £29.15 ex VAT

77 00 847 733 STOP LAMP CENTRE £22.50 ex VAT (this is center brake light)

A number plate is I guess £10. So a total of possibly £180 but there maybe other bits which need replacment.

However I had to guess the code for the be bob so I may be wrong but its not going to be muck more than 30% out I guess. Fitment shouldnt be much 2hrs I think at say £30/hr.
