Mrk2 Ph1 Automatic to Manual

Hello i own a 99 Mrk2 phase 1 automatic Rxe, and im looking to convert it to manual, i know that i will need a new transmission and driveshaft, does anyone know if it is possible or not, Thankyou.

Anything is possible, whether itsworth it is a different casem My gf has a auto mk1 and we looked into it and despite teh fact that we could have done it all fro absolutly free we decided against it, helluva lot of work!
