Mounting amp under seat

Hi all, I am looking to possibly mount an amplifier under the passenger seat, but has anyone else done it? As there doesnt look to be alot of space under there?

Any other suggestions as to where I could put it? Don't really want to put it back in the boot as I never seem to never have enough space.

I've mounted mine to the back of the rear seats in my Clio:

I know you said you didnt really want it in the boot but I've found like that It barely makes a difference to boot space.

I did look at mounting under the seat but my amp was too big to sit flat coz its quite a small area underneath, but if it fits Im guessing just using Velcro will keep it in place.

Also if you have the skills you can always build a false floor to mount it under

Very clean install that mate.

I did my first install like that, I just fancied something a little different.

i have put both my amps under my seats in my ph1, loads of space,, its secure too
i took the seats out and ran 2 metal bars along the well bellow the seat and bolted the amp to this, then the seats ontop, no way people getting therm out, plus it keeps them outa the way

I have mine underneath the passenger seat - the advantage is that I only need short phono cables to attach it to the HU - saves a bot of £££ when buying them!

I've got it secured with stick-on velco - it doesn't move.

Ive mounted mine upright at the end of the passenger foot well. It slides up right behind the glove box with plenty of space for air circulation. Can't tell it's there unless you look for it.
