mk3 Gear Box swap?

In theory would it be possible to swap the 6 speed box from a mk3 F4R onto a mk2?
What else would need to be done? Remap?

Would there be any benefits to doing this? Or would it stop you getting 60 in 2nd? i.e splitting the power over more gears?

hydraulic clutch conversion, different mount, nothing major, but i'd doubt it would bolt straight on
