Peugeot 308
Evening all,
So my partners, usually bomb proof Mk3 1.6 Clio has decided it didn't want to start this morning.
When I say didn't, it showed no signs of turning over at all - Lights on, radio playing, fuel pump priming, the lot.
The battery is 3 months old so I've ruled that out, I'm pointing my conclusion to the starter motor at present - it gives the initial 'prime' but doesn't engage.
I've tried the usual trick of cleaning up the terminal on the small black lead and I've given the starter a few hefty hammer blows to no avail.
I haven't tried a bump start as yet due to being parked on a bloody slope ?
Any other thoughts?
