Mk1 brake set up

  Renault clio mk1 p3
Right i need some advise please, im changeing my back axel on my clio mk1 to a rsi disk one, is the hand brake set up the same as the nomal drum brake set up?

I do not have abs fitted on my car so will this matter with the new axel?

what size is the standard brake sizes on a rsi?

Also i would like to know about the load sensitive pressure regulating valve for the rear disk brakes, I understand it is to stop lock up but how do you set it up? these must have also been fitted to the valver and williams so are they the same part?

any help please:cool:

Both cars use the same valve set it so its not worhting when the cars emply and loeded when the back goes down.

Handbrake is the same setup I'm sure.

ABS is not issue.

Stock dront and rears are 238mm.

Did it on mines as it looks better. Braking was no better/ rear sometimes locks up under heavy heavy braking but its crazy low so that may be the problem!!

Valvers and Williams use the same valve I'm sure.

I mean to adjust you set is so there no load on it when the car at normal height and when the back lowers some load come on it.

Trial and errors the popular way though.

just one, i still need to adjust mine, locks up a treat when braking hard for roundabouts/corners which can make it quite a handful going in to the roundabout catching the rear when its going the wrong way for the roundabout!

where should the load sensitive pressure regulating valve be located,

I have looked in the haynes manual but i can not work out where it should be and how it is connected up to the brake system:S
