Lowering 182 Sport

  RenaultSport clio 182
Hi all

My 1st post so go easy:D

Ive had the 182 for about 8 months now and love it, although having all my previous cars lowered I want the same for the clio.
My question is on just changing the springs rather than the whole shabang, ideally I would like to go the coilover route but cant really afford it unless you can recommend a reasonbly price set.

What springs to go for?? not bothered about fitting as i can do that

Cheers
Andy

Even with the cup suspension?

Eibach Pro - lower only a bit 10mm

Eibach Sportlines - lower 30mm - BEST SPRING FOR THE ROAD BY FAR..!

Apex 40mm - BUT HORRID RIDE.

Got to agree, Apex can be a little too harsh for the road. I had Eibach Pro's on the 172 before I got the coilovers, they were superb and have driven a 172 on the Sportlines and there wasn't much in it, would definately recommend either the Pro's or the Sportlines, can't say the same about the Apex though.
