Loss Of Power?

Since fitting new NKG Spark Plugs and Performance HT Ignition Leads it seems the car has actually lost some power, the car has a 6inch scorpion exhaust and a K&N Induction Kit and before the new plugs n leads the car had much better accelleration and the car body would rumble more, its died down some... the acelleration is laggin alot in the higher gears.

Cus this be that since fitting the Exhaust/K&N/Leads N Sparks that the ECU needs remapping to meet the new BHP the car has due to the mods?

Could it be time for a tune up?

thems mods wont have really gained you anything to be honest. a few bhp at the most. have you fitted a decat?

Yeah the system has a decat, but since changing to the new leads n plugs it just doesnt feel the same sometimes my foots to the floor in 3rd trying to pull along

might be running a bit lean then. maybe a chip would help. Have you caught the 02 sensor when fitting the exhaust.

Its not a valver, dont think a chip can help? nah the exhaust and k&n have been running fine just since i installed the new plugs n leads the power dropped really which i dont understand as their competition ones, i thought i see on here if you get a new exhaust system, K&N etc then its good to remap?

did you check the plug gap before you fitted them?

mm this right? when i bought my ngk plats it said that they didnt need the gap setting as it was pre-gapped! im confused lol

they are but that dose not mean they have not been droped or banged along the way . in the shop or transport
