172, BMW 650i & X5
Hi All,
I've a Ph1 172 and my intention over the winter is to remove Aircon pump (rest of system already removed) & PAS system. I would run a cup alternator set up with shorter belt and have a 'looped' PAS rack.
I would appreciate feedback from anyone with a 'looped' rack as regards feel, problems etc. or any other advice you may have.
I am not spending the money on an EPAS system as this is only a cheap track toy I'm looking to shave nose weight off
