LED on front of nokia N80

Can anyone tell me why this starts flashing for no reason, iv read the indtruction manual from cover to cover to find out and it says nothing about it??

The blue one? Flashes when it goes into sleep mode.

Yep, tells you its in sleep mode and not off as the screen is blank.

You can turn it off if you de-activate the 'active standby' mode.

not deactivate active standby. thats the list running along the top. turn off sleep mode. i had this problem and yeh it felt like the police were around lol

turn it upside down when in the dark. simple.

Exactly, sleep will make the battery last longer. Not sure by how much though.
