Got a Ph1 with the usual leakyness now associated with Clios, It's only ever gathering in my driver front foot well. The carpeting is dry at the top near the pedals and is usually dry under the driver seat so I believe the water is getting in (judging by the sheer volume!) through the sunroof where it seems to run down the drivers A-pillar lining onto the door seal, following the seal down to the sill, where it then leaks in to the carpet.
does this sound right?
I'm hoping to follow a leaky sunroof guide I found here, that involves removing the entire assembly and siliconing it up. Does this solve it 99% of the time? It leaks bad anytime it rains and is parked out the front (slope! :dapprove: ) and nothing can inspire such fury in me in the morning!
I had the drivers side scuttle off (wasn't sealed?) and that was clearish down there, water free flowed through it. I got most of the drivers arch liner off too (wing bolt just wouldnt budge, need an electric/air drill!) and that was full of all the muck of the day.
Should the sunroof seal be the end of it and is it easy enough to DIY? Really at wits end here and i'm not willing to fork out hundreds of pounds to renault for it!
