lambda issues????

hi, my post cat lambda is shot and the wires have snapped rather than buying a new one to plug in and tie up out of the way to turn the light off, can i re wire the the lambda loom and possibly put a resistor or something along those lines in to trick the ecu in to thinking the lambda is in and ok as £80 ish pounds to just tie it out of the way is a bit steep? all help will be greatly recieved thank you

Can't you just rewire the lambda back on if the wires have simply snapped?

No cuz they've snapped right at the neck and there's no wire there if that makes sense!
