Kswop

Hi all 🙏
I have a partially done kswop ph1 Clio .
1.
Not an easy question to answer but I’m led to believe that kswops on Clio tend to leave a stiff feel in gear selection feedback with a possible cause being gear cables that are not an optimal length. Has anyone overcome this ?
2. Clio ph1 has a clutch cable but to make this work , I need to move to hydraulic , it’s been recommended to just buy a new Pedal Box from pure motorsport as a foundation for this . Any thoughts from anyone on this?

Long shot questions but I appreciate any feedback 😊🙏

I don't think you'll get many answers as it's not that common, although has been done several times just not so much in here.

1) Not heard of stiff shifts due to cable length. But if the bend rad is too tight I can imagine that to be the case. Should be easy to see and test?

2) if pure sell a ready to go pedal box then yes that would feel like the easiest route 🤷

This is the route I’ll be going down with mine, I’d rather spend a few more £’s and have less of a headache

As @Flob said above make sure no agressive bends in the gear cables. I had a similar issue on my cable shifter setup, the cables were too long and the bend was too tight. Re routed them to smooth the issue out and all seems ok.

Kangoo dci or clio2 dci pedal box with hydraulic clutch will work if you can find one.
