Konis or second hand H+Rs?

AsI've been moaning on for ages my suspension will be getting renewed soon and am torn as to what to go for.

First up is a new set of standard shocks mated with some Eibach Pros. All in this weighs up at about £400 fitted so still not amzingly cheap.

Can get Konis with some springs for £400 then add fitting on top.

Or second hand H+Rs for around that too plus fitting.

Thing is I don't want the car that much lower and really don't want the ride to harden too much, hence why the H+Rs are looking good as don't they improve ride oddly enough and yet handle better?

(assuming you've got a 172) id go with the h&r's. at least if you do decide you want to lower it more, you dont have to fork out again for more suspension

why not consider a set of FK coilovers for around 420ish?
