Noticed a problem with my cup alarm LED located next to the gearstick. When I was driving it would flicker on and off, now it just stays dimly lit all of the time!!! So I rang Reg Vardy and booked it in for warrenty repair on the 22nd December - my warrenty ran out on the 23rd!!!!
Anyway, i had Renault UK ring me and tell me I didnt give the dealer enough time to carry out the repair therefore they are only gonna pay 50% and they want me and reg vardy to pay the rest!!! Stuff that, it needed a whole new alarm system! Anyway after havin a go at Renault UK after stating its not my problem if the work could not be carried out any sooner and the fact that the problem was reported within the warrenty surely covers my back??!! So after reg vardy ringing ren uk and agreeing 80% ren uk -10% reg vardy and guess who was supposed to pay the rest?? You guessed it, the mug whos car it is! I' ve blatently refused to pay the 10% as it was under warrenty!!! So Reg Vardy said they will stump up the whole 20% (*must be hard for a multi million pound company)
I'm happy that the work is getting done but im livid at the hassle i've had to go through!!!! RANT OVER ..
