It's a long shot but spotted a.....

renault 5 turbo 2, the wide arch crazy rear engined beast that lead to the Vee that we all know and love. Early eighties I'd guess. This one was coming out of Brighton, just off the A23, and red in colour.

Anyone on here, or anyone who knows of it? Not sure that many were actually built so to see one is as rare as rare can be.

My uncles got a maroony coloured Turbo 2, A reg and lives in Hove. Think he keeps it garages at Haywards Heath somewhere so could have been him? They're great cars, he's got cream recaros and it still looks the nuts. Tricky on the limit but great fun to drive, the turbo whine sounds great.

That would be him I reckon, he was coming over Clayton Windmills towards Haywards Heath!
