Looking at pics of the 182 standard system, the backboxes look similar designs to the 172 box. Are they the same boxes?
I'm just wondering if it's possible to chop up a 182 system & weld the backbox to a 172 exhaust.
The only decent looking second hand standard exhausts are from 182s these days & I think mine needs replacing.
